Hi I'm Garrett

I'm from Colorado. I love music, sports, and learning. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I played baseball all the time as a kid. I once got to go to a baseball camp with the Colorado Rockies, and I even met a few of the players. I once did a science project in elementary school for the sole purpose of getting to play video games all night long. In middle school, I made my own computer game and presented it as a Science Fair project. I played basketball in high school, and I sang in the musical in my junior year. I was Javert in our production of Les Miserables. I sang in the A Cappella group, and we got to sing the National Anthem at a Denver Nuggets game, where I also got to shoot a free-throw before the game. (I like to say I'm a 100% free throw shooter at the Pepsi Center!) I took AP classes all throughout high school, where I learned about physics, math, and the history of the world. I love to make my own music, and I've recorded a few covers, and I've written a song or two. I'm still not sure what I want to study in college, but I think I might like to major in physics or computer programming.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I've prayed to ask Heavenly Father if it is true, and I've received a confirmation that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that whenever I am at church, I am happy, and whenever I read the Book of Mormon or listen to the prophets, I feel peace.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures every day, going to church every Sunday, and praying as often as I can. In my callings at church, I help people do family history work and I help plan activities for the youth of my stake. I'm serving a mission for the next two years because I want to share the joy which I have because of the Gospel with everyone!
