Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a dancer, adventure junky, an aspiring photographer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Bellevue, Washington and had the pleasure of growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am the middle child of three, being the only girl sandwiched in between two brothers. I’ve enjoyed dancing for 12 years. I am graduating from high school and I will be attending Utah State University, studying film photography. I absolutely love the great outdoors, hiking, camping and going on vacations that are anywhere. I’m excited to see what life offers me, whether good or bad. It’s all for our experience. Bring it on.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the LDS Church because I know that I am a part of something much bigger than myself. It brings meaning to my life, and gives me complete happiness. Although life always comes with hardships, I know that things happen for a reason, and that they help me learn and develop into a better person. Being a Mormon is just a name, but it’s the reputation that comes with it, which I love. Life is challenging, but when you apply high principles and keep God’s commandments, it will ease your burdens and is the truest way a person can live. There’s a plan, a reason we are here on this life. That plan is everlasting happiness and being able to return to my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ again. It gives me joy to know that there is something more for me after this life.

How I live my faith

This summer I will begin my service as a full time missionary in Paris, France. I am serving because I want to bring the same happiness as a follower of Christ to others which I have enjoyed. I am continually thankful for the gospel and the knowledge of who I am, why I am here in this life, and where I am going after this life. And yes, we truly can know these things. I strive to attend to my church duties and keep high standards for myself at all times, no matter what anybody else thinks or says. I believe in treating everyone with kindness and politeness, even those who are rude, because it reflects my deep belief and witness of the gospel. I’m always trying to live my better self, and be my best for my Savior and others.
