Hi I'm Jacob Price

My name is Jacob Price. I love to play sports, I am a missionary in the Taiwan Taipei mission. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Taiwan Taipei.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me joy. I found in the years I spent learning about the Church that it was the only thing that brought me pure joy and didn't go away. I can always turn to the Church and its teachings to find comfort, peace, and happiness. I am a Mormon because I can be with my family forever, even after this life. I know that there is a life after this and that I can be with God and Jesus Christ. I know that They want all of us with Them, too. I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself what being Mormon means. I now know, for myself, that God loves me, He knows me, and I am never alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a representative of the church, fulfilling my duties to the church, and by living the standards of the church. I am demonstrating my faith through responding to the call to serve a mission. My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Faith takes action, and you can't just say you believe or have a testimony of something you have to act on it and live it. I like this scripture, because throughout life you may be in situations that are hard or you don't know what to do, but we can trust in Heavenly Father. Have faith in Heavenly Father, and he will be the lifeline that we can hold onto in our life.
