Hi I'm Caitlin

I grew up in Utah, 45 minutes from Salt Lake. I'm interested in becoming an architect and I love photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I completed a year of college back home before heading on my mission, studying architecture. I love hiking, camping, fishing, anything outdoors. Books are some of my best friends, and I've written poetry for local contests.

Why I am a Mormon

I big reason why I am a Mormon is because I was born into a Mormon family. Growing up that really influenced how I lived my life. When I got older and could make my own decisions, I had my own experiences that made me belief in this church for myself. I went through a couple of years as a teen where I wasn't living completely the way I should and I began to see the effects of it on my life. I wasn't as happy, I felt guilty, etc. I finally decided to clean myself up, and I've realized that I personally cannot live my life without the gospel or darkness will overcome me.

How I live my faith

During my teenage years of 12-17 I was involved with some youth leadership positions among my peers in the church. I got to help plan activities and get teenagers interested in attending church. When I turned 18 my family moved and I was asked to teach the children at church songs about Christ and our faith. That has been fun because I get to find creative ways to help them learn.
