Hi I'm Mariah Worley

I love Idaho mountains, celebrating life, cheesy love stories, an exhausting yoga workout and my eternal family. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 20 years old. I grew up in Nampa, Idaho. I am an aspiring elementary school teacher! I completed my freshman year of college at Boise State University. Some of my favorite life ingredients are walking through antique stores, enjoying a hot cup of peach tea, the color yellow, finishing a book that makes me sigh and the start of a new season. Experiencing different cultures has motivated me to be a better person. I was able to travel to Mindelo, Cape Verde to help build homes. The people of Cape Verde taught me that happiness is obtained by loving God and serving those around me. I try to live my very best by those principles. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

Why I am a Mormon

I feel extremely blessed to have born to goodly parents who have paved the way for my siblings and I to develop a relationship with God. My father has always been the very best man that I have known. He was raised with a Christian background and converted to the church when I was a teenager. My mom became converted to the church when I was a young child. She always stressed to her children that we each have to get ourselves back to return with Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because this church makes me a better person. One of my favorite quotes is "Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured" by Gordon B. Hinckley. I have found much peace and joy through being a Mormon. I know that this church has the fullness of the gospel. I have felt the power of the atonement in my life. I am so thankful that the Savior has provided me an infinite amount of new beginnings. I know that I am a daughter of a God who loves me! I owe all that I have to my Father in Heaven and I cant wait to share this gospel to the amazing people in New York!

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach once a month to the women of my young single adult ward during our church services on Sunday. I have been called to serve as a missionary in the New York New York North mission for 18 months. (Mar 2017- Sept 2018) I will be preaching the gospel in the Spanish language. I am so excited to invite others to come unto Christ through sharing messages of peace, hope, and love.
