Hi I'm Savanna Harrison

I grew up in Utah. I directed high school color guard. I am a licensed massage therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended university for 2 years before finding the perfect career: a massage therapist. I wanted something that when I am married and have children, I could do at home so I could be there for my kids. I also wanted to help people. I have a background in dance and color guard- spinning rifles, sabres, and flags, so I've had my share of injuries. I found relief from massage and once considering the career, it was the perfect thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the love of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ took our mistakes and sins upon Him so that we could be forgiven by God. When I repent of my sins, I can be forgiven and God will not remember them. Without Jesus Christ's Atonement (dying and suffering for our sins), I would not be able to be free of guilt. The LDS church is why I can be happy, because I know where I came from and what I can become. There was a time when I felt lonely, and as soon as I said a prayer in my heart, I felt the arm of my brother, Jesus Christ around me. He carries us when we are weak, and I know He is always watching out for me.

How I live my faith

I am currently the gospel teaching co-chair in my Young Single Adult ward. I am in charge of all the teachers in the ward, I coordinate when they teach, I keep track of rolls, and I help with a teacher training once a month. In the past, I've served as the pianist for the primary children, the choir director, and the activities chair in a previous ward. For this calling, I planned lots of fun activities like Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos, where there were 4 teams, balloons in the middle, and we took turns being pushed on our tummies on a skateboard to capture balloons with a laundry basket. Other activities were pumpkin carving, Christmas caroling, ice skating, barbecues, all as a ward. I am also living my faith by serving a full time mission for the church for a year and a half. I will take a break from my career so that I can hopefully help people come unto Christ.
