Hi I'm Ellie Epperson

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I am a competitive swimmer. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of the things I love to do are play sports mostly softball, volleyball, and swim. I was on my high school swim team and was team captain my senior year. The team was and still is like a second family to me. I also enjoy reading and being out in nature. My dad loves the outdoors and so, ever since I can remember my dad has taken my family on many adventures in the forest and mountains near where we live. My family is made up of six people, well seven if we are counting four legged members. My mom and my dad both grew up in my hometown and met after high school. I have two brothers. One is a junior in high school and the other is in sixth grade. I have one little sister who is a freashman. She is super artistic and walking into her room is like walking into her imagination. Our four legged family member is a sweet old border collie Australian shepherd mix. We have had him since I was six years old. He likes tortilla chips. One thing that I value a lot is the ability to help people smile and laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and asked for conformation of the truth in it. I received the answer that it was. The knowledge of the gospel warms my soul and gives me joy beyond anything I have ever felt. I am a Mormon because I love helping those around me by giving selfless service. I am a Mormon because the gospel makes me happy and I share the gospel so that I can share the happiness that I feel with as many people as Will hear the message that I carry from my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

How l live my faith is through a lot of service. My parents taught me the value of service when I was very young. When I serve I try to follow Jesus's example of selflessness and love. By living my faith everyday I try to express His love to everyone I meet regardless of circumstances. I strive to spread love, smiles, and joy. Unfortunately I mess up, sometimes royally. But living by my faith means when I do mess up I acknowledge it, do my best to fix it, and make sure I learn from it. I live my faith by continuing forward in love and humility.
