Hi I'm Natalie

I'm afflicted with various illnesses. I was born and mostly raised in Florida. I'm an aspiring actress and Biologist. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a major nerd with a love for musical theatre and biology. I grew up in an unstable household and suffered various forms of abuse but have managed to survive them and grow stronger. Currently I suffer with what is believed to be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia, along with Major Depressive Disorder and Anxiety Disorder.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mixed religion household. When I was young I chose to follow Christianity, choosing no specific sect. When I was fifteen, I was lost and alone. My best friend has just attempted to end her life. I could see I was on the same path. One night, I was online when an add for mormon.org popped up. I accidentally clicked on it and was brought to the site. I didn't know much about mormons at the time so I decided to start reading. That night I read the entire FAQ and had spoken with missionaries on the chat, who had helped me to get in contact with my local church's missionaries. When I first started investigating the church I wondered if what I was doing was right. I prayed for an answer and I recieved one. I began reading the Book of Mormon and prayed quietly, asking if it was true. The next morning, I found the word "yes" written on a napkin. It was an obvious sign and it was my answer. After a month I knew I wanted to get baptized. My parents refused to let me. Despite that, I stayed dedicated to the church. In October that year, my parents finally decided to let me formally join the church. On October 31, I was baptized into the church. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and that he died for my sins. I know that Joseph Smith restored the true Church on Earth. I know I have a Heavenly Father who loves me. My testimony has been tested since I joined the church, but it's always been there. Each trial I go through has made it stronger. Since I joined the church my life has been blessed in so many ways. I wouldn't be alive without the Church and my Savior. I'm a Mormon. I always will be.

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday and attend my early morning weekday seminary class whenever I am physically able to attend. I do service for my community through the church. I preach the gospel wherever and whenever I can.
