Hi I'm Tony Ramirez

I love to kicking a soccer ball around. I love singing and playing guitar. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Lima, Peru, and made my way over to the United States when I was almost 2 years old! I grew up in Utah and loved it! I was so blessed to grow up speaking two languages - Spanish and English. My parents are angels, and I am so grateful for the love and patience they showed my siblings and me as we grew up! I really enjoy soccer, singing, and playing guitar. Right now I am serving an LDS mission in Vancouver, Washington. It has it been the greatest experience of my life. It really has been. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I will be going to BYU-Provo after I'm done with my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised In a home with loving parents who lived the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have seen the blessings in my family. Although we have our trials, we love each other, have patience with each other, listen to each other, forgive each other, and help each other make good choices. I know that if I want a spirit of peace and love in my own family, I need to hearken to the words of the scriptures. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. I have found many answers in the Book of Mormon to questions I've had throughout my life. I've prayed and gotten my witness.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? It's a hard questions to answer. I just live? I couldn't see and wouldn't want to see myself without the Gospel in my life. It's part of who I am. I have so many weaknesses, and make so many mistakes that I need a Savior. I draw nearer to Him by reading my scriptures every day. I ponder about the things I learn during scripture, church meeting, or uplifting conversation throughout the day. I try to see everyone the way our Heavenly Father sees them, and although I don't even get close, it helps me love people. My full-time mission has helped me grow closer to my Savior and has been a great opportunity to help others do the same. I wouldn't trade the experiences and things I learned on my mission for anything.
