Hi I'm Tommi

I love nature and travelling the world. I grew up in Finland. I'll spend next two years in England and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love sports, nature and music! I like to play floorball (a common sport in Finland) and I follow NHL and NBA. My favourite things in nature are sunsets and mountains. Downhill skiing and hiking are the best! I enjoy listening to all kinds of music but I'm not too good to play it myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a family active in this church and I have been taught in my youth. I'm greatful for my parents for their example. Everyone still needs own firm testimony of the church to endure. I have gained that testimony through prayer and scripture study. I have felt clearly that this is the place for me to be. I'm happier and more loving because of the church in my life. I want that others can gain all the blessings I've had through the restored gospel. That's why I'll spend two years (2018-2020) of my life as a missionary in England. I love the church and it blesses my life!

How I live my faith

Living in faith is a journey of a lifetime. Everyday I'm trying to be more like Jesus. I try to be a good citizen, neighbour and family member. I accomplish that as I look for opportunities to serve and help people around me. Jesus Christ is the perfect example for us and there's a long way for me to be like Him. I stumble often in my efforts. The message of the church is that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) In my life I have felt that power and I know that if I repent often and strive to do my best I will be blessed. One of the great blessings is peace in life. I know where I was, where I'm at the moment and I definitely know where I'm going in my life.
