Hi I'm Tressa Lyman

I grew up in Central, Utah. I played college volleyball and basketball at Idaho State University. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the oldest of five children, and I have three beautiful sisters and then an adorable little brother at the end. I graduated from college with a degree in Elementary Education, while also playing volleyball and basketball. I love being active and playing sports. I also love being outdoors and enjoying the many beautiful wonders that Heavenly Father has blessed us with.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings true happiness and joy to my life! It brings me hope that my family can be reunited after we have finished this mortal life, and that I can become like my Father in Heaven if I prove faithful. Throughout my five years at college, I have seen so many people who are searching for truth and happiness in their lives. The gospel gives us an answer for the questions that we seek about our purpose in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by joyfully working to become the best version of me that I can be! As a college athlete, I've been able to play in front of thousands of people over the course of my career. I am constantly trying to uplift those around me and set an example of how living the gospel brings joy to my life. In a college town with many people who are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have tried to live a life such that the light of Christ can shine through me and bring those around me to the Savior.
