Hi I'm Edward

I was born and raised in California and have lived there for most of my life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to goodly parents and raised a Mormon. I served a mission for the church in the Netherlands when I was 19-21 years old. I received a college degree in Accounting and worked over forty years in the field of Accounting. I was married and sealed in the Lord's House over forty years ago. I am a father of 3 children and grandfather of six. My interests and activities include church service, astronomy, photography, sailing, snow skiing, swimming, camping in the great outdoors, mountain hiking, and family outings. I love the Lord. I love his church. I Love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Part of the reason I am a Mormon is that my parents were Mormons and the Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught and practiced in my childhood home. My parents were great examples to me. They supported me in all my school and church activities. I learned what Mormons were really like from my parents. When I grew older and left my childhood home, I continued to live the Mormon life style because it brought peace and happiness into my life and I desired to be a "good Mormon" example to my children as my parents were to me. I have learned through my experiences in life that God is my Heavenly Father and that He loves me very much, so much so that He has shown me the path to Eternal happiness and back to His presence. That path is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to me means being a Mormon. In a nutshell, I am a Mormon because I know and feel the Lord's love in my life and want to share that love with others so that they might know and feel His love in there lives also.

How I live my faith

I love to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ in my home to my family and at church as a teacher of others. I love to serve in the Lord's House - His Temple.
