Hi I'm Soakai Faleao

I grew up in California and in Utah. I graduated high school and seminary, I am an Eagle Scout. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My Name is Soakai. I love to be with family and love to laugh. I love to play volleyball and love to sing. I have a big family, so hanging out with them is always a great time for me. I'm about to serve a mission! I was called to serve in the Nuku'alofa Tonga Mission, and I report to the Provo MTC next month. I'm super excited to be able to serve a mission and count myself so blessed to serve my own people in Tonga. I love this gospel! My family and I are converts to this gospel, and our lives have definitely changed for the better.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because is makes me the most happy. I've been on both sides of being a member of this church and not, and I can honestly say that my life, and my family's life has been blessed tremendously. My family and I grew up Methodist. We were later visited by LDS missionaries and was baptized not too long after. I love this gospel with all my heart because it has changed my family for the better. There is more peace in our home and just a better understanding of this life we live. For me personally, I love this gospel because there is so much hope given. You are never too far from Christ's reach. He loves you no matter what. He knows what you go through and has a plan for you. You just have to have faith in him and trust him, and then let him help you. This gospel is filled with 2nd chances, cause Christ knows that we are not perfect, which is why he provided a way to make sure we can be forgiven; The Atonement. I am a Mormon cause I know that I will never be forgotten, never be put on hold and never feel alone when it comes to this church and Christ. Even though we are not perfect, Christ loves us perfectly. If there's anything I want who ever is reading this to know, it would be, YOU ARE LOVED, ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE, by Christ himself. The only person that stops that belief, is yourself. Come unto Christ. His hands lay reached out before you. Accept his help and I promise it will change your life. I love you and leave this message with you in the name of Our Savior, Our Redeemer, Our Brother, Jesus Christ, Amen. :) 3

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church, church meetings, church activities and church service projects. I am currently attending a Young Single Adult Ward and my calling is a Ward Missionary. I try and welcome all the visitors that come to our ward and church in general. We believe that everyone is a missionary helping those in need is a calling we all share as members of this church.

What is being a Mormon like?

Soakai Faleao
Being Mormon is being able to feel The Savior's love no matter how imperfect you are. Being Mormon is seeing the light at the end of tunnel, to know that Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to return back home with out Father in heaven. Show more Show less
