Hi I'm Christine

I grew up in Southern California. I was a Catholic. I was an Agnostic. Now I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I enjoy watching the Los Angeles Kings play hockey. I love all sorts of music and really enjoy live music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is His true church. I was raised Catholic - attended Catholic school for several years. When I was 14 and was getting ready to be confirmed a member of the Catholic church I chose to leave the church, it didn't feel right to me. Once I decided to leave, I began to struggle with my faith in the Lord. I knew that the Catholic church was not where I was meant to be and I began to question Him altogether. Soon after, I began to describe myself as an Atheist-Agnostic. I was lost and I was looking for more in life. I grew with many LDS friends and piers, all of whom were great people. I found myself working with a girl who was LDS - she shared church doctrine with me and I soon found myself wanting to know more. I began to take missionary lessons and attending church. On October 10th, 2015, I was baptized. Being baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the best decision I have ever made. My life has changed drastically in such a short amount of time. My perspective on life has been mended by the truths of the restored gospel. I know that this is Lords true church and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God. I know that if I had not been baptized, I would not have been able to reach this point of happiness in my life. I have a personal testimony of the strength and validity of Jesus Christs gift to us - the atonement. I am overwhelmed with gratitude toward our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. I hope to be able to help others come to know the truth, as I have, on my mission.

How I live my faith

I lead the music in one of our Sunday meetings. I am the Young Single Adult representative and I also visit teach two amazing women! I am getting ready to serve an 18 month mission in the Dominican Republic.
