Hi I'm Julia

I'm a Wisconsinite, a missionary, and a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of 10 kids, eight girls and two boys, in the backwoods of Wisconsin. My parents divorced when I was young which brought trial and struggle to the family, however, it also brought great blessings! We bought an abandoned and condemned 200 year old Catholic cathedral, and with Gods hand, transformed it into an educational center and wedding destination. We learned as a family how to work together and accomplish the goals which we set for ourselves. This instilled a hard work ethic and a determination in all of us kids and I know, for me, it is a constant reminder that God wants us to succeed in our righteous desires. Everyday we have time to learn something new. Before my decision to serve a mission for The Lord, I spent time being a farmer, a landscaper, a health coach, a ballroom dancer, a horse guildsman, a hunter, and a pre-school teacher. I am so greatful for God and his love for me (us) Now, for the continuation of my life, I have aspirations to do even more great and righteous things in the world that will touch and spread love to everyone.

Why I am a Mormon

The hand of God has forever been present in my life and I will always go out of my way to praise Him. Even though I am tried over and over again, my faith in Christ has remained unshaken. No matter who you are, or what you are going through, He will take care of you. After every storm, there is a rainbow. One quote that has really made a significant impact on my life has been this, "With trials like these, imagine the life God has planned for you." Satan is constantly working against God and His eternal blessings/plan for us. Every step we take towards Christ, Satan does anything in his power to make it uncomfortable, but, we are not alone in life. When we feel tired and weak, desperate or lost, He is there. God loves us so much He sent His only begotten son down here to earth, to die, so that we may all live again. And through His son, Jesus Christ, our weaknesses are made strong.

How I live my faith

As a full time missionary I have the opportunity to get up every day with a love in my heart and a desire to serve those around me. God has helped me through ALL situations, good and bad in my life. While being on my mission my Uncle, my Aunt, and my Grandmother died. It has been hard not being home with my family at this time but I have put my faith completely in Christ and know He is there comforting and uplifting them. Without the Book of Mormon and the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, there would be no hope nor happiness in this world. This Gospel is a sacred gift form God. Learn it, live it, share it.
