Hi I'm Shazer

I'm from Mexico City. I love with all my heart my family and the chocolate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the older sister, I have one brother and two sisters.I love spent time with my family, we have a lot of fun together! My favorite music instrument is the piano. When I was a little girl I thought it sounded so harmonious and sweet. Later, when I was a teenager I started to take classes, but I realize that it takes a lot of effort and work. So, I quitted for a couple of years. But now I'm back in the game, and I love it more and I'm not gonna leave it again. On the Other hand, I'm not an sporty girl but I like to workout on my home doing simple exercises that I learned on the social media (I'm not a morning person too). Finally, I love the mexican food, is so delicious(and a little bit greasy) !. I also kinda obsessed with fashion, design and colors. But this is just a small part of who I'am.

Why I am a Mormon

I born in the Gospel and all my nuclear family are members too. Despite that, the grow of my testimony was like a little seed. My father and mother was the first ones in nourish the seed. They always helped me and teached me according to the teachings of our Savior. In the Church, we have classes, activities, music, etc., that it helps with our understanding and testimony. But, when time came that I needed to be baptized, I was really nervous. In that time, my father gave me and advice that I will never forget. He said " Ask the Lord ". And I did, and received an answer accompanied of a warm calm that this is what I needed to do, that it was according to His will and I was in the true. Now I have a testimony of my own and I search the way to keep nourishing that little seed that now has become in a beautiful plant. So here it is. I know that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us always, I feel His love in the tender hand of my mother, in the hug of a brother. I also know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and I will never be able to pay everything he has done for me, except, by letting him enter to my life and follow Him. I know that we have in the actuality a Prophet and he is called by God. I know Joseph Smith was and is the prophet of the Restoration of the Gospel. I'm so gratefull for the gift of the scriptures and more specific, for the Book of Mormon. He is like a friend, I found answers for my life in this book and I know that testifies about the Savior. The temples are the House of the Lord, and the sacred ordinances we can do there, join us for the eternity. I know that my family can be eternal. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

Althought I'm young, I being having plenty of opportunitties to serve in the Church. When I was 15 years old I have the opportunity of develop leadership and follow the advice of the Savior to take care one another.I have assigned a group of tennagers of my same age with the help of another 3, to plan activities and goals and how to accomplish them, cheer others, and keep developing our testimony. Now, I have the opportunity to be a teacher for the youth and the sisters of 18years old and up.This calling bring me the opporyinity to know more about my Savior, to feel His love for others, to be paccient and hear His voice. Now, I'm so full of joy and gratittude for the amazing gift of serve my Savior on a mission for 18 months of my life.
