Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Utah doing martial arts, and singing. I'm a blessed teacher, a loved son, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love being outdoors and active. As a child I always found an excuse to go outside, and I continue to do that to this day. I love hiking, rock climbing, and recently developed a strange love for disc golf. In high school I spent my summers working outdoors for a landscaping company, and while the days were long and hard they were also very rewarding. Ever since I can remember I have been training as a martial artist, and when I got into High school I even had the opportunity to teach aspiring youth just like I was! In high school I was also a part of the choral program for three years, and I also participated on the soccer team for one year. I have been blessed to have been a part of various choirs throughout my teenage years, and with that developed talent I have been able to share about some of this Churches teachings through song. I aspire to one day be a father that provides a loving and safe home for his children, and teaches his children the amazing principles of love, compassion, and hard work that my wonderful parents taught me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life, but was not truly converted until I was in my early teens. After reading and praying diligently about the Book of Mormon for a few weeks, I finally received an answer. It wasn't any big or crazy revelation, it was just a feeling of peace and happiness whenever I read the scriptures, prayed, or even thought about the Gospel! This church has to be true, there is no other way to explain the overwhelming feelings of joy that I feel when I follow it's teachings and am a diligent disciple of Christ. I know that he atoned for our sins, and that because of this we can be forgiven and become truly happy for eternity. It has worked for me, and I promise it can work for everybody on the earth as long as they have a true desire to repent and be converted.

How I live my faith

I am currently living in Japan as a full-time teacher, teaching about this Church. Before moving to Japan I taught children about the Gospel, and sang in a religious youth choir that is based out of my home town. I absolutely love sharing about this Church and all of the wonderful blessings that come from it!!
