Hi I'm Alafou

Raised in Hawaii. I'm a Polynesian dancer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am number six out of fourteen siblings. I am Samoan, Tongan, German and Chinese. I love to participate in church. I enjoy playing rugby, but mostly Polynesian dancing. I went to college to purse my dream as an Athletic Trainer. I enjoy watching all types of sports. My favorite sport to be an Athletic Trainer for is football. And most importantly I love to meet people!

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon family and it was something I saw all my family doing. But I stayed a Mormon because the love I feel from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ every time I read the Bible, Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price and Doctrine and Covenants and everytime I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true and restored gospel on this earth, I know in my heart that what I'm doing and where I am at is where I'm meant to be. That specific love I feel from our Father in Heaven is something all of us can feel if we just give him that chance!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by organizing dances and different activities for young adults from the age of 18yrs-30yrs. The reason for these events is to help those around this age group have fun and meet new people. Being surrounded by good music and good people having fun without the bad influence of drinking and smoking. I also work with our youth as well. I plan fun and simple activities that tie into church, and help the youth learn and remember lessons easily for them to understand and use throughout their lives.
