Hi I'm Calvin

I love my pet weasel, Jerald, mac n' cheese, and scouting. When I find I have some time off, I love relaxing in a nice bubble bath

About Me

I love my religion and my family. They are the most important things to me. I know that with them, I can not only get through the toughest times, but have the best times. The Lord has blessed me with so much and I am happiest when I obey his commandments and try to serve him. I am called to serve in the Chile Santiago West mission and am very excited. A mission has been something I have been planning and working for my whole life. I had the opportunity to attend BYU for a couple semesters and be on their lacrosse team. I am also a professional wakeboarder and snowboarder. I ride for webkinz and kid Quisene

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because having the gospel in my life and striving to live it is what truly brings me the most happiness. I have found that when my lifestyle does not follow Jesus Christ's teachings, although it may be fun and exciting at first, I always end up very miserable, confused, and regretful. But I choose to be a mormon because I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, will never give up on us and always welcome us back when we realize we are not well off without him. The blessings that the Gospel has brought into my life are incredible. I have been blessed with a wonderful family, access to our Savior's atonement which allows me to be forgiven and also strengthens me to be better, and the knowledge that I am a son of God, who has a perfect plan for my life and who will never forsake me. Because of the blessings and peace the gospel has brought into my life, I have decided to serve a mission for my church for two years so that I can share this wonderful gospel with others who have not had the opportunity to hear it. I will be serving in Santiago Chile and can not be more excited.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow the Savior as closely as I can. I try to invite others to do the same by being an example and obeying the Lord's commandments, and having others see what kind of light and happiness that brings into my life. Service is one of the best ways to help me live my faith. Whether it's participating in young men's service projects, visiting people in my church community to help out in any way I can, or having a leadership position in my young men's group to help boys my age, I have found that service is one of the best ways to come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ, and feel his love for us and all his children.
