Hi I'm Chunie

I grew up with one foot in Utah and another in South Korea. I have a love for soccer, nature, and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been an active, prone-to-laugh type of person. I enjoy being around people and learning more about them. I love using creative ways to express myself and constantly seem to be trying new things. During the course of the week you can find me rock climbing, hiking, running, playing soccer, singing, painting, baking, friending, sistering, studying, pondering, traveling, yoga-ing, shopping, sewing, or trying out adulting.. or something new! I recently graduated from college and have been working in medically related areas. I'm preparing to pursue an education as a Physician Assistant. I hope to continue filling my life with beauty, joy, adventures, and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because, above all of the other things I could easily fill my time with, it makes me the most happy. I feel elated and purposeful in the way I walk about life. That doesn't mean everything has been easy, but I do know that as I have remained close to my Savior, Jesus Christ, my life has been less burdensome and increasingly meaningful. So many young adults are longingly searching and trying to "find myself." However, because of the gospel, I know who I am and I discover even more about who I am through choosing to be a member of Christ's church.

How I live my faith

I occasionally teach the women in our ward. The lessons are based on an uplifting message from prophets of our Heavenly Father. I also have been organizing visits with the sisters and report on how those visits are going. I help facilitate friendships and address needs that we have as we all try to help each other out.
