Hi I'm Clayton Christensen

I was born and raised in the LDS church. Music/Sports Lover. I attended BYU in Provo, Utah. Italy, Rome Mission 2016-2018.

About Me

I am currently a missionary serving in the Rome Italy Mission. Forza Italia! I love sports such as basketball, football, and volleyball. I play these as much as I can with my friends. I also love music and playing music. I play the piano by ear, I learn almost all the songs I know by listening to them. I also enjoy playing the guitar and the drums. I love to be around people and to socialize. I love helping others. I have a strong desire to do well in school so that I can find a career that helps many different people around the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for more reasons than are countable. Christ's church, the Mormon church, is the foundation and reason for all my happiness in this life. This church has let me know what true happiness feels like. It has helped me differ between the happiness that the world has to offer and the true happiness and peace that comes from living a life of following Christ. I am a Mormon because of the examples of everyone in my life. My testimony has been strengthened by listening to many leaders of the church and the powerful things they say that help my life. I am greatful for so many great friends, some that I've known since 3rd grade, who always keep me on the right path through their examples. I am a Mormon because of the joy that it brings to my family when we follow the teachings of Christ together. I am a Mormon because I have personally experienced and seen the blessings that this gospel has to offer and cannot deny their source and the reasons for them being granted. I am a Mormon because there are times when the gospel and Christ is the only thing you have to rely on and He never lets you down. When everything seems to be going wrong, I always have that foundation of knowledge that everything is fine because I still have the gospel in my life. I know Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father are real beings and have a work for me and all of us. I have a strong desire to share that message of hope and happiness to everyone I see. This is why I am going to serve two years in Rome, Italy. I wouldn't be going if I didn't know the truthfulness of this gospel and the blessings it brings to everyone who chooses to follow it.

How I live my faith

In my church ward back in Arizona I was the organist for my ward. Every sunday I would have to sit in front of the entire congregation and play hymns on the organ as the members sang along. Now in Provo, I am in charge of teaching Gospel Doctrine classes to all the students who are in my ward at BYU. I also serve as many people as I can inside and outside of my ward. I visit many families and see how they are doing. I assist many people with projects they need help with. Sometimes, I am there to just be a friend for someone. I try to visit the LDS temples that are nearby as much as I can. I know that when I go to the temple, I feel peace and happiness that I cannot find anywhere else on this earth. I try to live my life in a manner that the Savior would if he were her today. I try to follow his teachings in everything I do.
