Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a sister. I'm an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I admire creativity and art in all of it's beautiful forms. Along with acting, singing, and dancing, I also enjoy expression through reading, photography, and writing. I grew up in a small town with a close-knit community. I am the second oldest of four children and my family is the most important thing to me. I love to laugh, bake cookies, and watch movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the peace, joy, and simplicity that the Gospel teaches about Christ, the Plan of Salvation, and eternal families brings into my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live by example, "Faith without works is dead." Everyday I open my scriptures and read the words of Christ through the Book of Mormon and Bible. With a constant prayer in my heart, I ask if the things which I've read and studied are true, then I share and teach what I've learned with those around me. Striving to keep the commandments, I set daily goals to improve myself as a disciple of Christ. I am currently serving a full-time mission in New York.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Hannah
One of the main reasons the Restoration of the Gospel is essential is because it reinstated the proper priesthood authority back onto the earth. Throughout Christ's ministry he established the church. After His ascension, His apostles continued to lead the church. But, soon after, the apostles and other members were killed and the truth of the Gospel became corrupted, so God removed the proper preisthood authority beginning the apostasy. Many doctrines of the Bible then became misinterpreted and lost. Joseph Smith's first vision began the restoration. In the vision Joseph saw God and his son Jesus Christ.
