Hi I'm Spencer

I lived in Georgia for 8 years. I'm a Mormon. I love the outdoors and sports

About Me

I love spending time in the mountains, fishing, and camping. My hobbies include ukulele, hackysack, basketball, and video games(sad right?). I also love sports, specifically basketball, baseball and football, but there are exceptions when I do watch other sports when my top 3 are not available. I played baseball for 7 years and basketball for 3. I love being active and like to meet new people, even though I'm kinda shy and don't really put myself out there.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I feel at peace. This gospel brings about a comfort that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Another reason is my family. This plan gives me knowledge that I will be able to live with my family again after death for all eternity, as long as I live worthily and righteously and follow the commandments. Jesus Christ died for me so that I can be forgiven of my sins so that I can live with Father again. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church in 1830 and is a true prophet of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is the key stone of our religion, and that whoever reads it with real intent will become closer to God, because as I have read it, that is what happened to me. The protection that this gospel brings is irreplaceable.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a regular basis. I've been callings in each ward I've lived in, minus my ward in Georgia and my one in PG, UT. I visit 2 families each month as part of hometeaching, one of whom left on a senior missionary assignment to Portugal in September 2016. I've participated in planning youth activities in my wards and have experienced many scout camps and camp outs during my youth.
