Hi I'm Emilie

I write a blog. I taught English in Peru. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student pursuing a career in midwifery. In my spare time I write a blog. I love to knit, bake, ballroom dance, and read. I was able to live in Peru for six weeks doing humanitarian aid, and I absolutely loved it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love the feeling of peace and love it brings to me. I can really feel the love God and Jesus Christ have for me. My mother was the first person in her family to join the LDS Church. She loved the feeling the missionaries brought with them when she opened her door to them. I have so much comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ, our brother, died for us. For me. For you. He suffered for you. He felt every pain, trial, and heartache you have ever experienced so that he could understand and relate to you specifically, and so you can live again after death. He did this because He loves you. He wants to help you. I can feel the love of God. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm currently in a ward of young single adults, and I love it! I have the opportunity to go out and finding other young adults who might be interested in attending our service or coming to activities that we have.
