Hi I'm Tasia

I'm a girl from a small town in the middle of no where, I'm a follower of Christ and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm the youngest of a family of five, I grew up in a small town in central Utah. I love learning new things, going on adventures, and I love spending time with my family. I'm a complete nerd who loves to read anything involving magic or adventure. If it couldn't happen in real life I'm all over it. I love camping and just enjoying the beautiful place that we are so privileged to live in.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because everything that has ever happened in my life has made it impossible for me to think this church is anything but true. Through the LDS church (AKA The Mormon Church) I have come to know God and Jesus Christ. I have developed a real relationship with my Heavenly Father and I know of His love for me. Because of this church I know that I will be with my family forever, even after death. I know that death is not the end of this life, but rather the beginning. I know that God still speaks to the people upon the earth today through a living Prophet (Thomas S. Monson). I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true and that they are filled with God's word. I know that Christ came to Earth so that men might be able to return to live with their Father in Heaven. I know that because of Christ sacrifice I can repent of my sins and be made clean again. I know that in times of trial the Lord will be there to help guide me through. I know that through the Prophet Joseph Smith, the true church was restored upon the Earth. I know all of this because I have prayed and I have asked my Heavenly Father for answers. I know that if you wish to learn of the truth for yourself, all you have to do is pray in faith to God. I know all of this and I bare my testimony of this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do. Being from a small community everyone knows everyone and that can be both a good and a bad thing. When I was in high school my two best friends weren't Mormon so it was important to me to show them that as a Mormon I believed in being kind to everyone, stepping out of yourself to help anyone and everyone in need. I always tried to be the best possible person I could be because that truly is what this church is about, stepping out of your own little world and being willing to help others and being willing to be that light in someone else's life.
