Hi I'm Tessa

I come from a family of 5. I love God and my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of five with two older brothers. My two older brothers are my best friends. I enjoy Wake Boarding, traveling, dancing, cooking, hiking, running, exploring, watching movies, being in the sun, and SO much more. I was a cheerleader in high school and loved performing at half times and competing in competitions. I love music of almost any kind. I really enjoy doing almost anything as long as I'm with good company. I love trying new things, even if I'm bad at them.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have grown older, I had the same questions lots of people have about life. Who am I? What am I doing here? Where do I come from? Where am I going? The Gospel has taught me the answers to these things, and I have felt a strong feeling from the Spirit that what I have learned and continue to learn is true. As I have prayed, and saught out these answers for myself, I have come to know with a surety the answers to these questions. I am a daughter of Heavenly Father. I am here on earth to learn and to grow. I eventually can live with my Father in Heaven again if I live a righteous life here on earth. I know that God has a plan for me and as I listen to Him and pray to Him, I can follow his plan and have exceedingly great joy. I have a testimony of Christ's Atonement, and know that even though I fall short every day, I can be forgiven. I can improve and become a better person, and ultimately one day, become like Him. My testimony of these things means everything to me. It means that there is hope for me and for everyone, and there is so much more to this life than at times it may seem. It means I am never alone and that I can return to God again. My testimony helps me to be happy in this life.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my church and look forward to learning more about Christ and his teachings each week in church. When I feel prompted to share my testimony with my ward, I often will. Although its not always easy, I try to participate in lessons and share my thoughts and feelings about the lesson. I like participating in activities held each week to meet other people and become friends with them. I constantly listen to the promptings of the spirit and follow them. I am always using the Atonement of Jesus Christ to become a better person.
