Hi I'm Solomon Lolani

I was born and raised in the beautiful Island of American Samoa. In 2010 I moved to Utah. I'm now a Mormon.

About Me

One thing I really love to do is playing volleyball even though I'm not good at it. I also love Music, as a small boy growing up in the islands one of things that we did as a family is sing together and enjoy the moment, especially beach day as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

As of 2016 I have been a Member of the Church of 4 years now. Growing us a kid I have never felt any interest in religion or in church. Years after years of bible study and still no testimony of the church that I attended. As the years gone by the need of spiritual strength grew stronger and stronger by the day, until the day when two Mormon missionaries visited me and my family. Something about the message that they were sharing stood out to me especially the Authority of God on the earth once again. After days of studies I came to a conclusion that with all the knowledge I need to ask God about the truth of all things. Like Joseph Smith asked the lord with all my heart wanting to know the answer to my questions and as the lord answer prayers in the past days he answered my prayers that day. I now know the God loves each and everyone of us and that the blessings are there for us to receive. And because God loves me and has shown me the path to go I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love the opportunities to serve others in my ward. After we were baptized as a family my Father devoted every extra time he had to serving the lord by serving other members that were in need of help. Through that example of a leader in my life I strived diligently to find opportunities to serve the ward and also whoever is in need of the lord's love. I may not be the perfect example of perfect service but I will use all the talents I have to help those who are in need of a good laugh and a friend.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Solomon Lolani
The Testimony that we speak of is a spiritual witness or divine revelations straight from the Father to us through the power of the Holy Ghost. It is knowledge that the Father lives and that Jesus Christ is the savior and the redeemer of the world. Show more Show less
