Hi I'm Calvin

I paint maps. I recite poetry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a born and raised Oregonian. I have lived my whole life surrounded by trees and have enjoyed hiking the Cascade Mountains. After graduating Hidden Valley High as Valedictorian, I attended Brigham Young University. I'm currently on a mission in Lima Peru, where I'm loving getting to serve my Brothers and Sisters. I grew up in a large family, with six brothers and two sisters. We spent most of our time together growing up. I was home schooled until High School, and am a big supporter of private options for education, especially in the younger developmental years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, while reading the Book of Mormon, I seemed to feel a light, a peace of mind, that was unlike anything else. Literally, it was the peace of Christ, as stated in John 14:27. I am still a member to this day because of this light that dwells in me, testifying in the Lord, His Love, His Church, His Word, and His Prophet.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be a good Brother and Son. I pray every day for the Love of Christ to dwell in me. I am serving a Mission for the Church, where I spend every day inviting others closer to Christ, so that they can feel this love for themselves.
