Hi I'm Angela

I grew up in Utah. I am going to be serving a full time mission in Mexico. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I come from a big family. I have 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Lots of nieces and nephews. My upbringing in a big family has played a big part in the person I've become today. Because of having so many family members and going to doctors for ultrasounds and births, it has become one of my dreams to become an Ultrasound Technician and I am currently on that road to obtaining that dream. Traveling is also a big passion of mine. Growing up, my family and I travelled all around the USA and into Mexico to visit family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been an LDS (Mormon) ever since I was born. Having my own testimony is really important to me and as I get older my testimony continues to grow stronger and stronger. Prayer is also important to me. Prayer has always brought peace into my life and because I know that Heavenly Father is always going to be there listening, it makes praying even more meaningful and special. Being a part of the LDS Church and following the commandments that eavenly Father gives to us through the scriptures or through our latter day prophets makes life so much easier and happier. I don't know what my life would be like if I was not a prt of

How I live my faith

I have recently become a teacher for a young group of children in our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Every week I prepare a lesson for these kids on a certain topic and I teach it to them each Sunday. It is amazing how well they know so much about the scriptures. Doing this has really helped me prepare to become a full time missionary along with doing my own scripture reading and studying of the gospel.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Angela
It is very important the both parents make God their first priority, each other, and their children. By doing so they can become more successful parents. In the home it is the Fathers responsibility to provide necessities and protection for their family. In the bible in the new testament, Ephesians 5:23 it says "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body." What this scripture is saying is that the husband should follow the example of Christ in leading his family on the right path and loving his wife and children. The wife's role is to love and care for her children and teach them to follow the commandments. Aside from the children they are to also take care of and love their husband. They are also supposed support the husband and make sure he stays worthy of holding the priesthood power. It is both the husband and the wife's responsibility to provide teach the children to follow the example of Christ and choose the right.
