Hi I'm Chloe

I'm a middle-schooler, cellist, and an avid reader. I love kids, animals, and speaking Spanish. I want to be a forensic scientist.

About Me

I play the cello and I read a lot. I want to be a forensic scientist with a specialty in blood splatter. I love kids of all ages and I adore animals. I'm not old enough to be in collage but I'm already planning on which collages I want to go to and I'm preparing for my mission. I am a die-heart fan of Star Wars, Harry Potter, Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, The Patriots, and The Red Sox.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always been a Mormon. I choose to continue with this faith because I find a greater understanding of the scriptures and life. I have many friends of different faiths and I've noticed that they don't have a connection to our Heavenly Father like I've seen with other Mormons.

How I live my faith

I am in the Young Women. I don't currently have a calling, but I help out by watching ward members (congregation) kids and helping in my family.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Chloe
Yes, we do believe that the Bible is a Holy Scripture and that it is the word of God. We believe that the Book of Mormon is ANOTHER testament of Jesus Christ. In other words, the Book of Mormon doesn't replace the Bible, it goes hand in hand and strengthens what it says. Show more Show less

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Chloe
A normal Sunday worship is called sacrament meeting. Everyone comes to this meeting, children, youth and adults. Hymns are sung, prayers are offered by local members of the ward (congregation) and talks are also given by members. The most important part of this meeting is partaking of the sacrament (communion). This represents the body and blood of Christ and is taken every Sunday. We don't ask for donations as part of our Sunday services. After sacrament meeting the youth, children, and adults go to Sunday school. After that, children go to either nursery or Primary. Young girls 12-17 go to Young Women, and boys 12 and older go to priesthood. The women 18 and older go to Relief Society. Show more Show less
