Hi I'm Gilles Mambou

I grew up in the Republic of Congo but currently living South Africa. I'm a Mormon and going to serve my Mission on 29/12/2016.

About Me

I am originally from the Republic of Congo but currently living South Africa. My hobbies are playing soccer, listening to music and singing, watching movies, dancing, eating (not a lot), surfing internet, reading (book of mormon)... I am the only child of my parents and I do study Computer Information and Technology online with BYU Idaho but I had to put my studies on hold to accept the call of furthering the Lord's work (I am going to serve my mission in Kampala (Uganda) which includes Ethiopia and Rwanda on 12/29/2016). I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter on the 21st of April 2013; only my dad and I are Mormons and we are patient with my mother as we know there is the time prepared for all Men on earth to accept the Gospel. I am unique and talented person when it comes to the world of sport and life in general.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I had found the correct and true Church in the World that have the fullness of the truth or the priesthood authority and the book of mormon which answers the questions of the souls and that brings peace, and hope in life. I am so grateful to the missionaries that help me in my journey and most grateful that I can also do the same (to go out and save souls)

How I live my faith

I am an Elder, ward missionary and First Counsellor in the Quorum of Youth; I am an active member serving faithfully in my ward in everything required of me. I love being with the Youth of my ward as we openly talk about everything they want to know. I enjoy helping the Full-time missionaries everyday with their work as it helps me draw closer to and grow my testimony of the savior.
