Hi I'm Gary Abbott

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I have lived in Springville and Payson, Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father. I enjoy sharing home made bread with friends and neighbors. I am retired.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents had a great influence upon my life. There was love at home. At an early age my mother died. Her death caused me to contemplate more about the meaning of life. I had been taught about Jesus Christ and his sacrifice and death in our behalf. With my mother's passing I realized that Jesus Christ had died to bring about the resurrection of all mankind. That witness was borne to my soul by the Holy Ghost, that indeed Christ had risen from the dead and that all would rise from the dead. That I would indeed see my mother again after this mortal experience. Our lives in mortality are short. It is because of the belief that families are eternal and can be united and bound together as taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that I am glad that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have tried to be active in my community. I have served in scouting. I have been a PTA president. I help and serve my neighbors by visiting them and sharing a loaf of homemade bread. When they need help I try to do my best to help them.
