Hi I'm Emma

I was born and raised in Texas. I attended BYU for a year and am currently serving a mission in Viña del Mar, Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was in school at BYU for about a year before I decided to serve a mission. I'm the 7th of 12 children and I love my big family. I love to read, write, and learn new things

Why I am a Mormon

Though I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for my whole life, I could've left at any time I wanted. However, I haven't, and I won't, because I love this Church with all of my heart--so much so that I am willing to devote 18 months of my life to sharing it with others. This Church has brought me so much peace, perspective, and joy in a world that seems to suck all of those blessings out of the lives of those living in it. It continually inspires me to do and be better, to become more like Christ and follow Him. This Church is true, and is such an integral part of my life and who I am. I couldn't imagine my life without the knowledge and understanding that this Church supplies me with everyday.

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by serving a full-time mission and sharing the gospel with the incredible people in Viña del Mar. As I serve my mission and before I even left, I feel like the biggest way that I try live my faith is through doing the little things everyday (such as reading my scriptures, praying, striving to be a good example and a light to others, obeying the Lord's commandments, etc.).
