Hi I'm Alli

I grew up in Colorado and Utah. I am a music-lover and an adventure-seeker. But most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending my freshman year of college at BYU. I am majoring in mathematics education. When I'm not doing homework, I am spending time with my roommates or family, baking, singing, playing guitar, hiking, and more likely than not laughing. I am the youngest of eight children, and I have ten (almost eleven!!) nieces and nephews. Family is so important to me, and I am so grateful for mine!

Why I am a Mormon

I guess technically I was baptized a Mormon because of my parents faith in the LDS church. However, I have personally been converted as well, and because of that there are so many other reasons that I am Mormon. I love this church. I love the peace, joy and happiness it brings me EVERY day of my life. I love the knowledge I have of Jesus Christ my savior and his of love for me. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that God is my Father in Heaven and that I can talk to him whenever I want to. I know that Jesus Christ died so that I can live again. I know that our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is a true prophet of God and is called to lead and guide our church. I love this church, and I know that I would be no where in my life without it.

How I live my faith

I am currently the ward choir director in my singles ward at BYU! Every Sunday night the ward gets together and we all sing and have fun. I absolutely love my calling, not only because I love music and the way that it makes me feel and the ability it gives me to express myself. I will be serving an eighteen month mission for the LDS church in New Hampshire starting in December of this year, and I could not be more true. Living the gospel through my daily life helps me in so many aspects of my life.
