Hi I'm Brielle

I grew up in Utah. I love traveling and sports of all kind and anything outdoors. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I like to do pretty much anything that gets me moving. Running, hiking, soccer, and any outdoor activity that is fun is in my category of things that I like to do. I got accepted to Brigham Young University but am currently about to move outside the country for a mission. Eating is among one other hobby that I love... I wouldn't necessarily call it a hobby but I love trying new things and food is always fun to try. I love chemistry, medical research, and criminal justice. I have a goal to travel the world and try new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been asked this question thousands of time and the answer I give is always the same: first, it's because I truly do believe that what this gospel stands for is right and the doctrine it teaches is true and second, it makes me happier than I can explain. I am able to wake up everyday with hope, optimism, love, kindness, charity, and so many more emotions that are encouraging, enlivening, and in plain... just good. It's hard to explain but living by the standards that my church has set, and strengthening my ever growing testimony of this gospel is what makes me happy. I can look at the world that seems to be crumbling around us and feel no fear, feel no hate, and feel no regrets as I press onward in my life. I can always have hope, I can always feel like I have a friend, and I know that even when I feel like everyone around me doesn't accept me.... I know that Christ does. I can always rely on him even when I can't rely on myself. Christ makes me happy. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I was a leader in the youth. I am young still so I helped the peers around me that were all close to my age grow closer through various activities that I planned. My role as a leader was to just help everyone there become closer to one another and to bond a little more tightly and make friends. I love to participate in the community other ways by just being a friendly person. I love to talk to people and it's actually one of the ways I live my faith. I am able to branch out, make friends, see different perspectives on my own religion and share it at the same time. Just being a normal friendly person to me is living my faith. Just being truly happy is another way for me to live my faith. My religion really uplifts me and makes me want to improve, which makes me happy and the people around me happy. It's a calling to me to just press forward through dark times in the world and be happy and sometimes faith is all I can rely on because faith helps me and the others around me be happy through times when there probably isn't a lot to be happy about. I guess to sum it up, I live my faith by just being me, being friendly, and pressing forward with happiness, not discouragement.
