Hi I'm JoJo

I was born in Kansas City, MO. I love all things art and music. I'm preparing to serve a mission in Seattle, WA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in multiple states with my parents and five siblings. I spent most of my childhood playing games with my older siblings and learning instruments, drawing, and writing. I have always loved film and television, as well as traditional art and music. I love to write, paint, draw, film, photograph, and learn to play any instrument I can get my hands on. My older siblings and parents have always inspired me to grow and learn new things, and I am constantly trying to build my talents for my future. I love animals and plants, and care a lot about the wellbeing of the creatures of this earth. I love gardening, it's therapeutic and good for the earth! I love people, and love to serve in any capacity I can. I think service is the way to a persons heart. Selfless action to aid others is the key to more peaceful communities and a happier world.

Why I am a Mormon

There's a very large world out there. Anyone who has spent anytime in the world can tell that without God, it is a terrifying, misguided place with no answers and no solace. I am lucky to have been born into this beautiful gospel, but I have not always been grateful for the gift I was given the way I should have been. Now that I am closer than I have ever been to the savior, I can see the effect he has in my life, and how it has changed me for the better.

How I live my faith

I do all I can to stand as a witness of God, even in situations where I cannot outright speak about him. I try to channel all of my love for the savior into service, and helping others. As I prepare for a mission, I have learned to use my time wisely, as the savior would want me to.
