Hi I'm Vivianny Abrantes

I'm a mormon, I love to learn new languages and I'll serve as a missionary in the Brasil Florianópolis Mission.

About Me

Hellooo folks, I'm from Brasil, I'm a nursing student and I'm really into learning new languages! So far I've learned English and a little bit of Spanish and now I'm studying German, which is one of the languages I love the most in the entire world. After mastering German (which is pretty hard) I'm planning on learning French (my native language is Portuguese, by the way). I also love the health sciences because the human body is Heavenly Father's greatest creation and every inch of it truly testifies of the existence of God, such perfection couldn't have come outta nowhere. Observing this all very close to me is my favorite part of being a nursing student.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been converted to this gospel a long time ago, around 1978, when my mom was still a child. Around 1986 most of them got inactive in the church, so my mom raised me in the Catholic Church, since my dad is a member. Later, in 2007, we moved to an apartment near a chapel of the LDS Church, so mom decided to start visiting the Church again and she took me with her. In this very year I was baptized and since then, we've been active and honestly after living these principles for almost ten years now, I see how it's made a difference. I've become a better person, I feel myself closer to God and I know what is my purpose in life and who the Lord expects me to become. In the Church I'm prepared to be like Christ, following His example in all ways. I know this gospel brings happiness because no matter how hard things may be, having it in my life has helped me overcome all things. I've put everything to be tested, the Book of Mormon and the Church doctrines and by living all this, studying and asking from God I know they are true and they give me all I need to have a full life!

How I live my faith

I'm currently serving the children in the church. I help them learn how to sing hymns and songs, I teach them the gospel and I help them have a good experience in the church. I also home visit some sisters in my ward and worked once as a youth leader during a camping activity. Next year it'll be ten years since I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When this oficially happens, on October 21st, 2017, I'll be retributing this to the Lord serving as a missionary in the Brasil Florianópolis Mission. I'm really looking forward for having the chance to share my beliefs with others and I feel honored with the opportunity to serve as my Savior's representative to let part of the world know the truths of the Restored gospel of Christ! Being a mormon has changed my life for the better, it has provided me the right vision to set and achieve goals and to become a better person, to really find happiness through acting according to what the Lord has set as right and appropriate for us. I'm happy for having found the truth in my youth!
