Hi I'm Linda

I am a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. I love my family and serving in the temple. I am a Mormon.

About Me

For the last 54 years, I have been married to my best friend. Together we raised 3 children and now we love and enjoy 12 grandchildren and 3 (soon to be 4) great-grandchildren. They are the center of my life. Marty worked hard so that I could be at home while our children were growing up. When they were old enough, I went back to college to complete my degree, had a photography business and worked as a travel agent. We love to travel and have seen many wonderful places together with more yet to come but home and family will always be the center of our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel is true. I know the Book of Mormon is wnat the Prophet Joseph Smith said that it is. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ lives, that he knows us by name and that our "images are graven on the palms of his hands" by what he suffered for us. I know that because of Him, we will live again with those we love. I know that the blessings and ordinances of the temple bind us together with our families forever. Because I know these things, I can be happy and find joy in this life and in the life to come..

How I live my faith

I have spent most of my church life serving in the youth programs of the church. With the young women, I have hiked through the rain to stand on mountaintops and shared stories and testimonies around campfires and in chapels. I have taught youth religion classes every morning at 6:00am to wonderful teenagers who would faithfully come every day. I love the temple and now serve there on a regular basis. We recently completed a mission serving full time in the Nauvoo Illinois temple. I love the Lord and am happy to serve wherever I am needed.
