Hi I'm Amber Amie Vail

I grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho. I was born and raised in the church. I will be putting in my papers at the end of Nov. 2016.

About Me

I lived half my life in Texas and then my family moved back up to Idaho. I am now a college student. I plan to go to school for a one semester, and then defer for my mission. Ever since I was a young girl I had the desire to serve and then when the prophets lowered the age for young women to serve, I knew that I would for sure want to go one day. My future goals involve getting married in the Temple to be sealed to my future husband for time and all eternity. Also I hope to start a family one day. My best friend is serving his mission in the Philippines right now. He has been put for 1 month so far and as much as I miss him, I am so glad he chose to serve and there is no other place he needs to be. I am considering a major in secondary education.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can't deny the feelings the spirit has given me about the truthfulness of this Gospel. I have had so many experiences that helped me feel connected and loved by my Heavenly Father. I have been taught the Plan of Salvation, which is basically how we become like our Heavenly Father. In order to progress in this plan I must keep the commandments the Lord has given me. This life is a test to see how well I can follow the Savior's example of kindness and obedience. My ultimate goal is to become perfected through my Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe that he gave his Life for me, so that I might repent after I sin and become clean again. I am a Mormon because I love the principles and the family oriented values it teaches.

How I live my faith

I currently live my faith by attending church each Sunday and also I have a calling. I am the ward photographer so at all of our socials or events, I take the pictures to update the Facebook page as well as keep a current history of our ward. I also live m faith by being worthy to enter the temple so that one day I can go though and be sealed to my family for eternity.
