Hi I'm Camille

I was raised in Arizona, am a dancer and singer. I love the outdoors, eat a lot, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Currently, I am a student at Brigham Young University Idaho, and will be majoring in Animal Science and Vet-tech. I am a HUGE music fanatic and spent my high school years in both the marching band and drumline. Yes, I was one of those kids. I have danced eight different styles of dance for eleven years of my life. I also sketch and paint, and absolutely love desserts! I also love meeting new people, and traveling and seeing new things. Different cultures have a soft spot in my heart as well, and overall, I just love people!

Why I am a Mormon

All of my life, I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or Mormons). It was all I ever knew, and in all honesty, I didn't know why I was a part of this church. I spent a lot of time thinking about that, and trying to find a reason to stay. I never gave up trying, and after much fasting, reading in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I decided to kneel down and pray. This was all happening when I was only seven years old. I prayed to our Father in heaven, to help me, to find my way, and give me a reason. In that exact moment, I felt something like a hand wrap around my shoulders, and a feeling like nothing I have ever felt before burst in my chest. It was overwhelming, and in that moment, I knew why I was a member of this church. It was true. The lessons, the teachings, the words from the scriptures, were all true. I learned more and more after that day, faster than I ever did before.

How I live my faith

Throughout my years, I have served in many different positions in my church. But right now, I am a teacher for the young children of the church. I spend my time with them, helping them learn and grow in the world around us, as well as in the faith.
