Hi I'm Mafe

I grew up in Philippines. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a teacher. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a missionary. I like to travel in different places with friends and sometimes all by myself. I love reading the scriptures, listening music and watching movies. I'm a teacher by profession and I do love inspiring and helping other people even in some simple ways.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon after my mother died. My grandparents were members of the Church but my parents were not. My life was terrible when I lost my mom but I found great courage and hope when I was converted in the Gospel. As I develop faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, I was able to overcome the challenges along the way. My conversion story doesn't end the day when I was baptized. For me, its a journey of a lifetime which is determined by constant correct choices that is anchored in keeping God's commandments. I know that Heavenly Father loves me so much. He loves all of His children. I know that Jesus Christ lives. He is our Savior and Redeemer, because of Him we can have eternal life and families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I served as a seminary teacher in my branch. I love teaching my seminary students as much as I love my students in school. Teaching the youth is quite challenging but as I magnify my calling, I am abundantly blessed. Seeing my students that they are learning to develop faith in Jesus Christ and strengthen their testimonies, I can truly feel the joy that comes from serving. I have learned to love those whom I teach and teach with love.
