Hi I'm Dalton

I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. I've been called on a mission to Denver, Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Whenever people ask 'what are you doing for fun'? I realize people must think I'm pretty boring! I love cross-country skiing, hiking, and cycling. I think it's important to take advantage of nature. I've always been interested in religion. It's always exciting when friends invite me to their church or mosque so I can learn about their beliefs and deepen my own.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ answers the essential questions I have about life. 'What is the meaning of life? 'Why am I here?' and 'Where am I going?' It gives me comfort in knowing that the truth is here and is knowable. God plays an active role in our lives. He cares about us and wants us to succeed. My faith comes from my personal experience with God, through studying His scripture, meditation, and prayer. We are 'all alike unto God', and therefore we must love one another and learn to serve each other. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ has allowed me to overcome my shortcomings and to be filled with his love, so that by and through Him I can help others.

How I live my faith

Through my church I'm able to serve my community. Opportunities arise for me to to help organize and participate in religious events, camps, sport days, and community service activities. This outward expression comes from my inward devotion to God, and that by helping and serving others I serve God.
