Hi I'm Nic

I grew up in Pocatello ID, I am a primary teacher, I love competitive swimming, music, the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love competitive swimming, spending time with friends, reading, and both listening to and performing music. I am a high school graduate, and I am currently serving in the Washington DC North Mission. I love anything to do with medicine and I hope to become a General Practitioner, and perhaps a cardio surgeon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was originally born into this faith and had only a small understanding of the doctrine. However there was a point in my life that had no involvement in the church, and I saw the church as a source of problems and unnecessary tasks. this was the probably the least happy time in my life when I look back. I slowly returned to the church through the persistance of my family, friends, home ward members, and seminary teachers. And as I returned to the church, my life became brighter and happier to the point where I have had marvelous spiritual experiences that have proven to me that God is very real, that this is His true church, and that he loves each of us more than we can know.

How I live my faith

As a member of the LDS church I have served as a home teacher, a primary teacher, an adviser in two different youth groups and I am currently serving as a missionary. One of the things I've enjoyed the most about these positions (especially those that have allowed me to teach) is seeing the joy that I have received through my faith, enter the live of those that I have the opportunity to teach.
