Hi I'm Maddy Guido

I grew up in Laguna Hills California and moved to Utah when I was 11. I go to BYU.I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born in California and now live in Utah. I love Skiing and the snow. I love Disneyland and the beach. I love to laugh and have fun. I love surprises and love to surprise people. I love to hike and bike. At school I bike a lot and want to learn how to mountain bike. I currently am a freshman at Brigham Young University and hope to study Business. I love my family and my friends. I try to stay active by trail running and playing tennis. I am also a gymnastics teacher. I love to watch and teach gymnastics. I'm also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have just been called to serve as a missionary for the church in Puerto Rico.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. Both of my parents are member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They have taken me to church every Sunday since I was born and have tried to teach me the Gospel. I am not a Mormon just because the rest of my family it. I am a Mormon because I believe in this gospel. I believe in Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ died for us so that we may be forgiven of our sins. I believe in our prophet Thomas S. Monson. I believe that he receives direct revelation from God. I also believe that Joseph Smith, a past prophet, truly saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I believe in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus Christ. I attend weekly church meetings and fulfill my church callings. I am currently in charge of planning Monday night activities for a small group of members of my ward. I love planning these activates and having fun with the other members of my ward. I try to read the Book of Mormon every day and and pray often. I try to not lie and to be honest. I try to be kind and to help those in need.
