Hi I'm Hannah

I'm planning to serve in the Indonesia Jakarta Mission, I'm adopted, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Hannah, and I'm preparing to serve a mission in Indonesia. I just graduated high school a year ago, and while attending my first year at Utah Valley University, I served my community as Miss Bluffdale 2015. I cheered in high school, and danced most of my life. I love drawing, playing the piano, and teaching myself languages.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to follow Christ's example as a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because God has given me so much. I was adopted into a family that raised me in the church, and it took me awhile to truly have a testimony for myself about the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I grew up, I've had many experiences that have brought me closer to Him. I know for a fact that my adoption was apart of God's plan, to be raised in a way that I could be a good example to my birth mom and family. Having my biological family convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 8 years ago really strengthened my testimony of God's awareness of His children. He knows us, He loves us, and all He wants is for us to return to Him. That's why I am a Mormon, he's blessed me and BOTH my families, and I want to live with my family for all eternity when we return to our Heavenly Father some day.

How I live my faith

When I was in college, I served my ward by being a Ward Missionary. It was easy, all I had to do was be myself, and find people who needed friends. Service doesn't always have to be some big event, a simple smile to a stranger can make their day. Being a ward missionary taught me how to reach out to those in need of a friend or someone to talk to.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The atonement of Jesus Christ gives us second chances. He sacrificed so much for us so that we can LIVE. Because of Him we can face tomorrow, we can rise each day with Hope and Faith in our hearts with eyes looking for opportunities to serve others. When we make mistakes we don't have to feel the heavy burdens on our shoulders because He's already paid the price for our sins. Without the atonement, without repentance, without second chances, I can't progress in life. When I'm feeling hopeless, or sad, inadequate, or lonely, I know Christ is there for me, because He felt my pain, so that He'd know how to comfort me. Show more Show less
