Hi I'm Austin Walker

I had a baseball scholarship that would have paid for my schooling. I chose to go on a mission instead. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside. My favorite summer thing to do is go hiking. I love to play baseball. I am a future missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

Nothing brings me more long-term happiness. When i keep the commandment and actively look for the lords hand in my life i realize how blessed i am to be a member of this church. This gospel is such a blessing in my life. There have been times in my own life that i have not had the gospel or wasn't very strong in it and when i compare it to the times that i have had the gospel, it makes me never want to live without it. I know that as I diligently serve the lord and do his work he will take care of me. I know that he is there for me anytime i need him, all i have to do is pray. I know that the power of prayer is very real and he will reveal to you any question that you might have through personal revelation. I have a testimony of the atonement of christ. I know that he lived a sinless life so that we could become perfect and repent of our sins to be able to return to our father in heaven. I'm so grateful for this gospel.

How I live my faith

Strive to become better everyday. In baseball we called it "the grind". You show up to practice, do the workouts, and do the little things when no one is watching and you will become a successful baseball player. It is the same for the gospel. I attend church, study the scriptures, and go to the temple. I keep myself busy when I'm not doing those things by reading conference talks and participating in service activities. I strive to become a better member of this wonderful church.
