Hi I'm Kate Madorin

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy biking and racing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest in my family. I have two older sister and two older brothers. We currently adopted my two little nieces, so our house is always hopping. I also have an amazing mom and dad whom I love dearly. Our family is always busy so I have grown to love many outdoor activities! In the winter I like to ski and snowmobile, and in the summer I enjoy swimming, hiking, and biking. The reason I love to do these things so much is because my family is with me! Family is really important to me and I am who I am because of them. When I have a second to myself, I love to play the piano. Music is a way for me to relax and ponder about things. Thats a little about me!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up with two great examples... my Mom and Dad. So yes, I have grown up in the LDS church. That means I had to find my own testimony and not rely on my Mom and Dad's. To be honest the main reason I am a Mormon is because I found that is when I am the happiest. Nothing brings more joy than this gospel and I can testify of that! I have never been inactive in the church, but I have not participated for a little while in my youth as much as I should of. That is when I found myself depressed and lonely. I literally felt like no one cared about me. Then my mom made me go to girls camp.... and let me tell you it was a struggle getting there. But while I was there I found out someone did care for me always, and that is my Savior Jesus Christ. He knew how I was feeling and would comfort me the way no one in the world could. I am a Mormon because it's home.

How I live my faith

I decided that since I love my Savior so much, I would serve an LDS mission. He has done so much for me everday, so I only found it only fair to give back. So since I made my decision, I have been helping out in my ward until I leave (November 16, 2016) to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've helped out in nursery, primary, and in any other way I can. The one thing I recommend for every young women is to attend Young Womens! That is where I gained my testimony the most. My "second mom" was my Young Womens President. I am so grateful for this church and gospel!
