Hi I'm Grant Nielsen

I grew up in the U.S in an LDS family. I have loved sports all my life. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate who played football and did track all four years of my attendance. I have grown up in the LDS religion with parents who have raised me well. I often enjoy spending time with my friends whenever I get the chance. I currently coach on a freshman football team and very much enjoy my time spent there.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born and raised in an LDS family and I am very lucky for it. I have grown up knowing about the prophet Joseph Smith and how he restored the fullness of the gospel on earth with a great deal of help from the Lord. The restored gospel brought many amazing revelations. For example, because my family and I are in the church and sealed in the temple I know that we can be together forever. This promise helps me to make better choices for the sake of myself and for the sake of my family so that we can all enjoy each other's presence once more. I love my Savior and I'm grateful that through him I can live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I attend The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints every Sunday. While I am there I partake of the sacrament (a morsel of blessed bread and water to remember the Savior's atonement) and I sing hymns as well as listen to talks given by other members of the congregation like myself. This lasts about an hour after which my friend and I teach a class of nine and ten year old children about the gospel. This similarly takes about an hour. When our lesson for the day is over my friend and I escort the kids to a room with kids of various ages ranging from 8-11 and there they sing children's songs and participate in fun activities to further their understanding of gospel principles.
