Hi I'm Josh Ellis

I grew up in Idaho! I run like the wind. I love basketball and making people laugh and smile! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from High School. I love to play video games and spend time with my brother. I love to jam to music and dance like a weirdo! I played basketball in high school, and I love being goofy and weird! There is almost nothing more important to me than family and friends! My deepest desire is to make people smile, laugh and know someone cares! When I get home from my mission I want to go to college.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because my religion makes me happy. It fulfills me. It gives me direction in life.

How I live my faith

I love to go Home Teaching with my Dad. We visit several families every month to make sure that they are doing great or if they need help with something. It makes me feel good knowing that we care for and have responsibilities for other families.

What is the difference between attending a church and attending a temple?

Josh Ellis
We attend church every Sunday. I love the feeling of unity and love that comes with attending church. We call each other "brother and sister", and there is definitely a feeling of family that comes with our weekly meetings. Attending the temple is also a special experience, but with a different purpose. The temple allows us to make covenants and promises with God. It is literally the House of the Lord. You can feel his presence and calming influence when you are there. Show more Show less
