Hi I'm Sydney

I grew up in Oregon. I am a college student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18. I am a college student, I plan on becoming a Nurse when I graduate. I love to hike and be outdoors. I love movies. I love spending time with my parents and 3 siblings as well as my extended family. I have a ton of cousins and I love to spend time with them. I love to travel and plan to travel more as my schedule allows.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not just because I was born and raised to be one. I am a Mormon because I could never deny that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and is aware of me. That Jesus Christ volunteered to sacrifice his life, and in turn suffered every pain and every fear and every temptation, even to his death, so that I could have a way to repent and be forgiven for my own sins. That there is a Holy Ghost who can administer the greatest peace known to man. That the Holy Ghost can give me strength for anything that I could need it for, if I but sincerely ask and am worthy to receive it. That my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings, strictly one in purpose, and that purpose is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. That to gain a knowledge of these truths, one must simply ask with a sincere heart and a genuine desire to know, and they will receive a knowledge through the power of the Holy Ghost. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by saying my prayers in the morning and at night. I read my scriptures and attend my weekly church meetings. I try to be an example to the people around me by being kind and polite. I try to forgive others. I try to go about my life with a christlike attitude. I had to opportunity to the the 7-8 year old Sunday school class and loved spending time with the kids. Their perspectives are so pure and loving that it was very refreshing to hear their opinions and ideas. I also participated in the seminary program
